  FAQ: How did you get the backgrounds and boxes on your page? I looked on DA for tutorials and help, just search profile css in the search box ^_^ You need a DA paid membership to add these though. I made the background myself with Photoshop. What tools do you use to draw with? Photoshop CS5, Illustrator CS5, FLASH CS5, Painttool SAI and aWacom Bamboo Tablet for digital works. I really enjoy drawing traditionally, too :> with Biros, Fineliners, crayons, textiles, copic markers and watercolours. I know I have a lot of tools and I don't always use them. I believe you can bring out a piece of art with nearly any material, I just like to have various materials to work with ^_^ What tools do you use to make your Cosplays? A limited edition Brother sewing machine and then I explore for making everything else xD. A hot glue gun is a great friend! ;D Do you make your costumes or are they store-bought? I have no problem with store-bought costumes but I find they aren't accurate enough sometimes, so if I find a costume that I know I haven't enough time to gather materials and make them, or the understanding of how it works, I'll buy it, but I always edit them somehow, or make other parts of the cosplay, as it works out cheaper. I make most of my costumes, though. Being a novice at sewing and with no available sewing classes, I look online for tutorials and go through trial and error a lot. I will ALWAYS credit who the costume is made by. I buy wigs and style them myself. Ebay is great for wigs, it's growing all the time with top quality wigs that aren't too expensive. |
